Konfigurasi router R0:
1. Ke privileged mode:
Router>enable
2. Ke global configuration:
Router#(config) terminal
3. Ubah nama router:
Router(config)#hostname R0
4. Meniadakan logging console:
R0(config)#no logging console
5. Menset password untuk privileged mode:
R0(config)#enable secret cisco1
6. Menset password untuk console:
R0(config)#line con 0
R0(config-line)#password cisco2
R0(config-line)#login
7. Menset password untuk telnet:
R0(config-line)#line vty 0 4
R0(config-line)#password cisco3
R0(config-line)#login
R0(config-line)#exit
8. Konfigurasi interface f0/0:
R0(config)#interface f0/0
R0(config-if)#description Koneksi LAN R0 ke S0
R0(config-if)#ip address 192.168.10.1 255.255.255.0
R0(config-if)#no shutdown
9. Konfigurasi interface s1/0
R0(config-if)#int s1/0
R0(config-if)#description Koneksi WAN R0 ke R1
R0(config-if)#ip address 192.168.20.1 255.255.255.0
R0(config-if)#no shut
R0(config-if)#exit
10. Menambahkan routing table (192.168.30.0 , 192.168.40.0 , 192.168.50.0):
R0(config)#ip route 192.168.30.0 255.255.255.0 192.168.20.2
R0(config)#ip route 192.168.40.0 255.255.255.0 192.168.20.2
R0(config)#ip route 192.168.50.0 255.255.255.0 192.168.20.2
R0(config)#exit
11. Simpan konfigurasi:

R2(config)#ip route 192.168.30.0 255.255.255.0 192.168.40.1

Routing Default
Konfigurasi router R0:
1. Membatalkan ip routing(192.168.30.0 , 192.168.40.0 , 192.168.50.0):
R0(config)#no ip route 192.168.30.0 255.255.255.0 192.168.20.2
R0(config)#no ip route 192.168.40.0 255.255.255.0 192.168.20.2
R0(config)#no ip route 192.168.50.0 255.255.255.0 192.168.20.2
2. Menambahkan Routing Default:
R0(config)#ip route 0.0.0.0 0.0.0.0 192.168.20.2
R0(config)#exit
3. Simpan konfigurasi:
R0#copy run start
R0#exit
Konfigurasi router R2:
1. Membatalkan ip routing(192.168.10.0 , 192.168.20.0 , 192.168.30.0):
R2(config)#no ip route 192.168.10.0 255.255.255.0 192.168.40.1
R2(config)#no ip route 192.168.20.0 255.255.255.0 192.168.40.1
R2(config)#no ip route 192.168.30.0 255.255.255.0 192.168.40.1
2. Menambahkan Routing Default:
R2(config)#ip route 0.0.0.0 0.0.0.0 192.168.40.1
R2(config)#exit
3. Simpan konfigurasi:
R2#copy run start
R2#exit
konfigurasi default ini pada router 0 dan router 2 kita beri ip default dan diarah kan ke serial router 1 jadi ip fastethernet dan serial router 0 dan router 2 diberi 0.0.0.0 dan sabnet 0.0.0.0 arah ke serial router 1 192.168.xx.xx.
